Meet My Shoes, was founded in April 2005, by a Retired United States Army Veteran, inspired. It became a 501c3, Not-For-Profit Organization in April 2015. This organization centers itself on the front lines, imitating the love of God.
The Belief: We believe in working our appointed harvest. Those individuals who journey through our doors whether they are socked, barefoot, shoed, or booted the need needs never diminishes, like water that keeps on flowing, our labor never stops going.
The Mission: Linking individuals together on a Course to social programs and resources that provide information and knowledge for change and for positive communicable living. "Its not about the shoes, its the journey."
The Vision: A Community without hunger and poverty, even in its truest form where the least of these hold the keys to building opportunities for themselves to succeed and their neighbors to flourish.
The Goal: While all of us are susceptible to hardships, we are committed to meeting people where they are, in the trenches of life. Our aim is to revive, and reduce poverty hardships in oneself, in community, and in neighborhoods.
